GMO Ingredients

  • GM crops have harmful effects on laboratory animals in feeding trials and on the environment during cultivation.  They have increased the use of pesticides and have failed to increase yields.
  • GMOs are created artificially to tolerate herbicides, made by Monsanto and others, that kill weeds.  Herbicides contain glyphosates which is extremely toxic.
  • Glyphosates chelating capabilities remove minerals from the soil where they’re sprayed.  So crops get increasingly worse while increasingly abundant Roundup resistant weeds, or super weeds, force farmers to add more toxic materials to Roundup.
  • Creates toxins or allergens in foods and affect their nutritional value.
  • Over 75% of all GM crops are engineered to tolerate being sprayed with herbicide.  This led to the spread of herbicide-resistant super weeds and has resulted in massively increased exposure of farmers and communities to these toxic chemicals.
  • Link between herbicide use and birth defects and cancer
  • Regulation for GM foods is week in the U.S.
  • 95% of GM crops are in the U.S.  It is banned worldwide.
  • Research Monsanto = evil company.  Monsanto is sued successfully worldwide, but not in the U.S.
  • It’s a vicious cycle for farmers who, conned by greater production promises, unwittingly signed on to Monsanto Roundup Ready GMO binding seed contracts.  Monsanto uses patent laws to litigate against farmers whose non-GMO fields are contaminated by GMO fields, forcing smaller farms out of business.
  • Most farmers fold because they cannot afford the litigation.  American farmers are attempting to organize against mostly Monsanto’s GMOs.
  • 80% of our processed foods in the U.S. has GMO, which is why it is crucial to make foods from scratch.
  • Monsanto created DDT, PCBs, AGENT Orange, marketed aspartame and created bovine growth hormone (rBGH) to infect milking cows that put pus into commercial milk.
  • GMO’s = soy, corn, beets, cotton, alfalfa, sugar, aspartame, papayas, canola, zucchini and yellow squash – AVOID THESE
  • Look for food labels for organic certification for buy foods verified by the Non-GMO Project.
  • AVOID processed foods.
